Every Day
It's hard when a long term or committed relationship comes to an end.
This work comes from reflecting on what we may want to say to someone we are in a relationship with that has experienced the hardship of a divorce or break up and the insecurities it can bring into a new relationship.
Verse 1:
We both had that time where it was supposed to be
for better or worse.
We touched the scars
while we wondered if the memories would ever fade.
Now I watch you sitting there
not having any clue how you make it hard to breathe.
